The IM2423P is a highly integrated USB C+C quick-charge controller that supports PD3.1 /PPS/QC4.0+/QC4/QC3.0/QC2.0 and SCP/ Super charging-V /AFC/PE etc. fast charging protocol. It is designed for USB DFP (Source) charging applications such as power adapters, car chargers and etc. The IM2423P built-in high-precision DACs and direct feedback loop to provide high-precision output for type-C1&C2. It minimizes external components and saves BOM cost by FB feedback, integrating BMC PHY, Type-C detection, voltage and current monitors, output bleeding circuit, NMOS gate driver. When two connectors plug into simultaneously, C1/C2 can keep their own fast charging and power distribution is also realized. The IM2423P also provides comprehensive protections such as over voltage protection (OVP), over temperature protection (OTP), over current protection (OCP) etc. The IM2423P is available in QFN28-5*5 package.
