TMI2293HQ is a wide input voltage, high efficiency step-down DC/DC converter which requires minimum number of external components. Its operating switching frequency is 500kHz. TMI2293HQ offers very compact solution with up to 3.5A continuous output current over a wide input range. Maximum 100% duty cycle could be obtained. TMI2293HQ integrates a high side P-MOSFET with Rdson=40mΩ and a low side N-MOSFET with Rdson=25mΩ. TMI2293HQ offers two operation modes, PWM and PFM mode switching control, which allows a high efficiency over the wider range of the load. Advanced protection features include UVLO, thermal shutdown, soft start, input OVP and output OVP.
