TMI6283H is composed of one channel power switch (Switch1) and one channel load switch (Switch2) in a 16-pin 3mm x 3mm QFN Package. The device can be used in series with the front and back stages, or the two chips can be used separately. The Switch1 is a single channel line power switch with low on-resistance 60mΩ typical. Input voltage range could support from 2.7V to 18V with 5.8V output voltage clamp and 18.9V input overvoltage protection. The switch1 is controlled by an active high enable pin. A programmable soft-start function could be used to set the proper rising time to reduce inrush current caused by large load capacitance. Current protection and thermal shutdown function protect the device against over current and high junction temperature. The Switch2 is a cost-effective, low voltage, single P-MOSFET load switch. The switch operates with inputs ranging from 2.5V to 6V, The switch's low Rds(on) 60mΩ with meets USB voltage drop requirements. A built-in P-channel MOSFET with true shutdown function to eliminate any reversed current flow across the switch when it is powered off. When the output voltage is higher than input voltage, the power switch is turned off by internal output reverse-voltage comparator. The Switch2 offers a programmable curre nt limit threshold via an external resistor on ILIMIT2 pin to GND. FLAG2 is an open-drain output report over-current or over temperature event. In addition, FLAG2 also has typical 2.5ms deglitch timeout period and reports output reverse-voltage condition.
