The TMI3388C is a high integrated synchronous step-down converter with up to 8A output current capability and input voltage range from 5.5V to 24V. It integrates very low RDS(ON) MOSFETs to minimize the conduction loss.TMI3388C adopts advance ACOT control architecture, which provides stable operation and has fast transient response performance without complex compensation and low ESR ceramic capacitors. At light loads, The TMI3388C can be operated in two modes, the USM mode can provide lower noise and the PFM mode can provide higher efficiency. In addition, TMI3388C Integrated two divider feedback resistance and offers 5.1V Fixed Output Voltage. The TMI3388C also provide a fixed 5V LDO with 100mA current capability, which can be used to power the external peripheries. Besides, the 5V LDO can switch over to Buck regulator output to save power loss. It has two EN pins control LDO and Buck regulators respectively. Robust protections are integrated in TMI3388C including cycle-by-cycle current limit, internal soft-start, output OVP and UVP, input UVLO and OTP functions. TMI3388C is available in QFN2.5x2.5-16 package.
